Inside joke between me and everyone who has had to make an access request
About:
A sign and chain closing off a stairway, reversing the gallery’s usual protocol for accessing the second level. Viewers are directed to request permission to use the stairs, while elevators remain freely available.
The sign reads: “If you would like to use the stairs, request access from gallery staff. Elevators are available for use.” At the bottom is a symbol of crossed-out steps.
