Typos, Inc. is a informal entity that I use for self-publishing and might someday publish other artist’s work too.

A green wire-bound book sites on a red patterned surface. The title is ALT-TEXT AS POETRY with each letter made of repeated round shapes. These shapes are symbols borrowed from landscape design, typically used to indicate different types of trees.
The same book sits on a new madras patterned surface. It has text describing the cover of the book and the authors are listed at the bottom: Bojana Coklyat and me.
  • About:
A workbook for Alt Text as Poetry, a multi-year exploration of the poetic potential of image description by Bojana Coklyat and me. Alt text is an essential part of web accessibility that is often disregarded or understood through the lens of compliance, as an unwelcome burden to be met with minimum effort. How can we instead approach alt text thoughtfully and creatively?

Visit alt-text-as-poetry.net for more on the project and to access the workbook in lots of formats.

A half-page zine with the title Bench Maintenance Mood Board

  • About:

As some of my benches enter museum collections, I’ve made this booklet to try to explain how I would like them cared for in the longterm. In particular, the way they will be continually transformed through ongoing use and repair. I send one of these with every acquisition.
